Happy Independence Day!

Driving in terrible traffic to any destination outside the city is not my ideal time how to celebrate Independence Day. Im also not a big fan of huge crowds to watch fireworks. Been there, done it, enough… I’m still laughing at our “Let’s see fireworks from Jones Beach, it should be empty because everyone celebrating somewhere else”. Well, about that, we were stuck in unmovable traffic, almost out of fuel and in wrong lane, about miles from Jones Beach with limited view of barely visible sparkles. It was somewhere there…

Years after years I’m staying home, exemption was when 4th July was on weekend and we did spend our holiday time camping in Catskill. Love to camp, but that’s another story.

4 of July always brings heat and humid, I don’t remember any other way. So the last year I said: nope I’m not going to suffer and bought kiddy pool to be soaked in, just for a day. It was a good idea and I decided to invest into inflatable jacuzzi. After careful consideration and reading tons of reviews, I choose Coleman Salu-Spa. I’m amazed by quality of this spa and how comfortable it is!

So, Idependance day at home became more than just tolerable, but very enjoyable as well. We didn’t invite all our friends since 4th July is splitting work week, so we did hang out with our closed friends very quietly.

Plate of goodies
I think I own some explanation here. Fresh salad 🥗 includes: Baby Arugula, heirloom tomatoes, cucumbers, olives, grilled paper, and herbs (basil, oregano, cilantro and thyme) with balsamic vinaigrette. [[[[[[[[
No explanation needed: Indulging ourselves with guilty pleasures
