Very traditional North Caucasus lunch – fish soup called Ukha! We’re used fresh water fish called Zander or pike-perch, which is most popular fish in our region.
Growing up next to the big river and fresh water sea, fish was and is major part of Cossacks diet. Honestly, I could survive on fish only diet and don’t eat meat at all.
