I don’t even remember when did I draw realistic faces last time. Probably when I realize that academics studies are boring. In the Art School I always hated those vases and cubes.
Every time i had to draw a vase, I did contour first and added supposedly helping structures line later on, otherwise I would’ve spend hours trying to make it look like vase 🏺 not UFO.
Now I feel like I want to introduce faces in my drawing but doing so I understood that my hand not doing it correctly. I need practice- Arteza watercolor pad is perfect for that, I love texture of paper. Don’t like how watercolor flow on paper but for scratches it would be perfect
