I couldn’t remember where or when did I see a post about this perfume house but word Ineke stuck with me.
Recently I ordered samples and today my discovery set was delivered. When I don’t have any idea what to expect I truly hope to find perfumes that will impress or better yet conquered my olfactory!
First I found out that Ineke is a name of perfumer. Here is info about her:
Ineke Rühland is a classically-trained perfumer creating original fragrances in her independent studio in San Francisco
Born and educated in Canada, she moved to Europe in 1988 for a career in the fragrance industry. After working in the Netherlands, England and France, she found herself passionately drawn to the creative role of the professional “nose”. So in 1996, she began her formal perfumery studies at ISIPCA in Versailles, France, the only university-level perfumery school in the world. She consolidated her study of traditional techniques with sojourns to Grasse, the Provençal city that spawned perfumery in France. Following three years of apprenticeship at a fragrance house in Paris, Ineke moved to San Francisco to blend her perfumery skills with her love of design, literature and the arts in the creation of her perfume “stories”.
My first impression about all of the samples: I like all of them, they are masterfully blended, so many interesting notes! It feels so serene and and I thought it could be Japanese perfumes. And since it’s from San Francisco it’s kind of make sense 👌🏻😊
Here are perfumes I love the most and they will go on my wish list!
FIELD NOTES FROM PARIS
First notes and massage imagination will bring you right away on quite little street of Paris, cozy cafe. While sitting there and drinking coffee you are watching passing by people with interest, sensing their perfumes – All of it keep mixing together: fragrance of the street, distinctive smell of coffee, your perfumes and perfumes of other people, blend in with one and become very magical and intriguing perfume that Ineke successfully put in the bottle

Could be this café . And why not to use all cliches in this case? Pourquoi Pas ?

Middle: Tobacco Flower& Leaf, Patchouli, Cedar

another is
IDYLLWILD
I think it’s the most green/wood/forest fragrance I like. Classic Aromatic Fougère. It’s really subtle but you would instantly transport yourself in Yosemite National Park – yes it smells exactly like air in North Cali. I want to try it on my skin to check longevity

Top Notes: Rhubarb Tea, Grapefruit, Lavender
Middle Notes: Big Sur Sagebrush, Cypress, Fir Needle
Base Notes: Cardamom, Woods, Oud Musk
2.5 fl. oz. / 75 ml – $125
Another perfume I like but necessarily would want to have is
AFTER MY OWN HEART
It’s very feminine perfume, very princessy but not I overwhelming more contemporary scent .What I really admire is how a perfumer could make camouflage lilac into pretty perfume.
I love fresh lilac very much but hate it in perfumes because it reminds me toilet spray. So kiddos to her to make lilac works in unison with all other scents.
