I started my vitamin bombs preparation. Got really good feijoas on sale and decided to make it vitamin bombs for tea.
Usually, I take cranberries, sea buckthorn, add a little bit of mango nectar, and mix it all together in really smooth thick emulsion. Freeze it and keep it frozen.

The primary health benefits of eating feijoas include:
- Immune System Support: Feijoas are exceptionally rich in vitamin C. Just a few fruits provide nearly your entire recommended daily intake, helping to protect your body against infections and promote skin health.
- They are loaded with potassium, which helps regulate your heartbeat and lower blood pressure.
- Feijoas are high in dietary fiber, which keeps your digestive system moving smoothly, though eating too many at once can cause a laxative effect. (🚩)
According to the USDA, one cup of raw feijoa chunks (about 205 grams) contains about:
- 126 calories
- 31 grams carbohydrates
- 1.5 grams protein
- less than 1 gram fat
- 13 grams fiber
- 67 milligrams vitamin C (75% DV)
- 47 micrograms folate (12% DV)
- 0.47 milligrams vitamin B5 (10% DV)
- 353 milligrams potassium (8% DV)
- 0.07 milligrams copper (8% DV)
- 0.17 milligrams manganese (7% DV)
- 21 milligrams magnesium (5% DV)
I adding some of the feijoas concoction into handmade salad dressing. For example – Ceasar salad!
Also, in winter time it get us through, when we feel unwell. Just put one cube in tea and it’s so delicious! Enjoy it!
