About a month ago I went to pick up rose petals in Montauk. I’m doing it every year to make rose oil but this summer I wanted to dry petals out since I failed to keep rose oil in good condition, do not use preservatives and not getting spoiled.

I injured/sprained my hand in accident and it’s very slowly recovery. So, I was a bit slow to pick it up.

This rosehips flowers are very fragrant and I wondered if petals going to stay that fragrant when dry?

Long story short , petals does keep those amazing smell and colors! I’m surprised by it.

So it was a time to make a rose and strawberry tea. I found combination of those two ingredients makes great looking and tasting tea. I’m not trying to convince anyone so this tea is strictly for me.
